Make a Foot Massage Treatment at Home in Dubai


Reflexology is an ancient healing practice based on the principle that there are reflex points on the feet that correspond to the body’s different organs and glands.

These points are located on the soles, ankles, toes and upper part of the foot. In reflexology, pressure is applied to special areas on the feet with specific thumb, finger or hand techniques.

Stimulating and applying pressure to these reflexes on the feet is definitely pleasurable, but at the same time it helps promote good health.

Your feet are probably the most neglected part of your body. You walk in them every single day, and sometimes you notice how rough and callused they are. But this spa treatment will not only soften those rough feet (until you can't stop touching them), but it will also help you relax and sooth your tired feet as well!

Before getting started with the spa treatment, arrange on the floor, in front of a comfortable chair, a towel big enough to fit a large bowl on. Have an extra towel and a good book ready.

In a large saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk and 7 cups of water until it is as hot as you can stand. While it's heating, mix 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of lotion until all the sugar is coated and the mixture is slightly soupy.

When the milk/water mix is ready, put it in a bowl large enough to fit both feet in. Set the empty bowl down on the towel, and pour the milk/water mixture in. Place the sugar mix nearby and place your feet in the milky mix. Soak for about 10 minutes while reading a chapter from your book.

After soaking, remove your feet and scoop some of the sugar mix. Use your fingers to scrub the sugar mix onto feet bottoms, tops, and between the toes. Scrub until you feel you have exfoliated well enough. Place feet back in the milk/water mixture and rinse well.

When your feet are completely devoid of any sugar, dry them with the extra towel. Slather your piggies with some moisture-rich lotion and sock them until you're ready to show them off. Voila! Super touchable soft feet!

You could try and put some flower petals or rosemary to make your feet smell better.

Some new pink nail polish and summer sandals work well with this recipe!

Don't heat the milk and water too hot. You don't want your feet to scald while soaking!

Stop scrubbing your feet with the sugar mix when it starts to tingle too much.
